The first round of thunderstorms rolled through the metro area this afternoon dumping upwords of 2 inches of rain in 30-60 minutes. As a result, both Johnson county, KS and Jackson county remain under a Flash Flood Warning until 8:30 as excessive runoff could cause flooding in some areas.
